Pumanaw na si CPP founder Joma Sison sa edad na 83-anyos nitong biyernes ng gabi matapos ma-confine ng dalawang linggo sa ospital.

Inanunsyo ng Communist Party of the Philippines na pumanaw na umano si Joma Sison matapos ma-confine sa ospital ng dalawang linggo.

Si Jose Maria "Joma" Sison ay dating university professor at youth leader na nagtatag ng New People's Army "NPA" at CPP.

“The Filipino proletariat and toiling people grieve the death of their teacher and guiding light,”- CPP
